    Job Title:            Q-53 Field Service Representatives (On-going recruitment)
    Division:             Logistics Support Services
    Location:            Syracuse, NY

     


     

    Applicants must be a US citizen and possess a US DOD Secret level security clearance. 

     


     

    POSITION SUMMARY

     

    Candidates for this position maintain the assigned radar system assigned.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    You will receive initial training on the radar system at the OEM facility after which we use an over-the-shoulder training program to ensure that you know what your doing.

    During and after training you will maintain the radar system assigned to you. Conduct all supply chain operations in support of radar maintenance. Load software/firmware updates, preform data collection, prepare and submit reports in different formats. You will interact with the Army radar operators and maintainers provide over-the-shoulder assistance to them.

    The majority of these positions are CONUS positions, however we do have some deployed positions and expect openings in the future to include Singapore.

    Qualifications

    Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) that prepare you for this position.

    • 13R Radar Operator
    • 94M Radar Repairman
    • 14T Patriot Launching Station enhanced operator/Maintainer
    • 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator/Maintainer

    Additional skills that make you competitive for the position outside of Military Service-

    • IA certification to at least Level 1
    • DOD instructor certification
    • Experience in radar system operations
    • Previous field engineering and fielding experience in support of the DoD
    • Knowledge and understanding of radar theory, radar design. Do you know how a RADAR
    • works?
        • -Do you know how to troubleshoot, isolate faults and conduct repair/replace techniques
        • -Provide input for development and publication of training, maintenance, and logistics
        • Publication

    Education/Requirements:

    • A two or four-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
    • Experience with the US Army Test & Evaluation (ATEC)
