    Applicants must be a US citizen and possess a US DOD Secret level security clearance. 

     


     

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the providing customer and development support for the suite of tools developed and maintained by the Logistics & Engineering Center (LEC) at LOGSA.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    The LEC Tools support US Army Acquisitions and Provisioning activities by government, contractor, and commercial customers. This position will benefit from experience and knowledge of GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1388-2b, and MIL-STD-1552 and familiarity with Logistics Product Databases (i.e. SLICwave, EAGLE, PowerLOG-J). Additionally, experience supporting custom application development is desirable, including reviewing requirements and performing testing.

    Qualifications

    The candidate shall possess the necessary skills and drive to interface with customers via multiple communication channels including phone and email in order to troubleshoot and resolve issues with instances of the LEC tools at customer sites.

    Essential Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication
    • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)Preferred Skills:

     

    Preferred 

    • Experience providing direct customer support
    • LSAR/Provisioning/Supportability experience
    • Familiarity with logistics specifications GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1388-2b, and MIL-STD-1552
    • Experience working in Logistics Product Databases (SLICwave, EAGLE, PowerLOG-J)
    • Experience using the CASA, COMPASS, or SYSPARS applications
    • Presentation skills to include the development of clear and concise presentations as well as the ability to present to customer and internal groups

    Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelors preferred
