    Job Title:            Senior Software Engineer (Contingent Upon Award)

    POSITION SUMMARY

     

    Support collaboration and information sharing across C2TECOE and the MISTCs. Manage C2TECOE and oversee MISTC data management systems and content. Plan, design, integrate, and administer best practice disaster recovery techniques. Create and maintain C2TECOE SharePoint Enterprise documentation; C2TECOE and MISTC SharePoint topology diagrams; smart packs/user guides, change management logs, and desktop management procedures.

     

     

    Responsibilities

      • Support collaboration and information sharing across C2TECOE and the MISTCs.
      • Manage C2TECOE and oversee MISTC data management systems and content.
      • Operate, administer, and maintain C2TECOE and subordinate MISTC information management processes and SharePoint sites.
      • Develop, document, and convert information management and staff processes into functioning SharePoint pages and templates.
      • Create and maintain all aspects of SharePoint sites including: site collections, preliminary master pages/templates design, subordinate pages, Web parts, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, and navigation designs.
      • Incorporate Microsoft Designer and InfoPath and develop process workflows. Perform centralized site administration, assign permissions, configure and manage virtualization and performance, run reports, maintain the core services, and diagnose and troubleshoot identified problems.
      • Administer and configure Internet Information Services (IIS) web sites and web services.
      • Develop custom frontend web interfaces to extend the base functionality, as applicable Structure Query Language (SQL) scripting ability to write custom SQL. Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) to manage data integration between systems.
      • Collaborate with functional/technical leads to produce solution design documents and process flow charts.
      • Develop standard and custom solutions to implement a centralized intranet, content management, and document archive locations.
      • Install administer and maintain Department of Defense (DoD) Public Key Infrastructure Cryptographic Logon and Public Key Enablement of unclassified and classified C2TECOE and MISTC SharePoint services.
      • Plan, design, integrate, and administer best practice disaster recovery techniques. Create and maintain C2TECOE SharePoint Enterprise documentation; C2TECOE and MISTC SharePoint topology diagrams; smart packs/user guides, change management logs, and desktop management procedures.
      • Research and provide recommendations for new SharePoint related tools and technologies. Provide C2TECOE and MISTC SharePoint and collaborative tools training to support operations.
      • Provide technical consultation during POI events for SharePoint and future COC related IM or collaborative tools meetings, or BSTEX scenario working groups. Participate in SharePoint and collaborative tools technical forums and meetings

     

     

    Qualifications

      • Must possess an active secret level security clearance
      • 8-10 Years of experience
      • Requires Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): APP Builder certification
      • SQL Server

    • Bachelor’s degree
