    Location: FORT MEADE, MD 


    Applicants must be a US citizen and possess a US DOD Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain successful completion and adjudication of a FULL SCOPE POLY level security clearance. 




    Provides adequate and appropriate planning for hardware and communications for NSA facilities.  Documents engineering plans and site installation technical design packages.  Coordinates analysis, acquisition and installation of hardware and software.  Manages those resources engaged in facility additions, moves or changes including analysis, telecommunicatins (LAN, WAN, voice, video) planning, cabling, IT requirements, etc.  Performs site surveys.  Accesses and documents current site network configuration and user requirements.



    The successful Network /F5 engineering candidate shall posess a thorough understanding of TCP/IP, network design principles, and network operations in a data center/cloud environment.  In addition, the successful candidate will be well versed in industry best practices implementing and managing network resources with emphasis on F5 proxies.  This position requires advanced application awareness and troubleshooting skills. Thorough understanding of TXP/IP networking and layer 7 protocols.  Experise in multi-vendor environments.  A miniumu of 3 years specific F5 experience including but not limited to Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager (GTM), Access Policy Manager (APM), I Rule develeopment, implementation, and maintenance.  5 -7 years overall network experience.  Knowledge of networking devices such as routers, firewalls, Windows and/or Linux/UNIX servers.




    Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
